Cala Mitjana Beach

Crystalline waters, pine trees, cliffs, caves and white sand

Cala Mitjana is the little sister of Cala Galdana. It is an unspoilt cove, although easily accessible. Cala Mitjana is located in the center-south of Menorca and can be considered as a medium-sized cove. With white sand, turquoise waters and calcareous cliffs, you don’t have to swim much to find the first sea caves entering the rock.

Cala Mitjana can be accessed by various paths. From near the Viewpoint of Cala Galdana and following the Camí de Cavalls, the walk takes about 25 minutes. From the Cala Mitjana parking, about 15 minutes on foot along a mostly paved road. Note that some old maps indicate that the beach can be reached by car, which has changed. To get to the parking, you must reach the first roundabout in Cala Galdana and go back a few meters along the arrival path, from where the car park will be visible.
